Meander from Eastern Market to Union Market
Our love of DC truly began in fall 2010 while exploring the city’s neighborhoods as an early member of Capitol Bikeshare. Until then, we used our bikes mostly for training, but Bikeshare bikes opened our eyes to pedaling for transportation and leisurely exploration. It reminded us of the way we used to ride bikes as kids, just for fun.
In that spirit, To Market, To Market is a ride designed for anyone up for a leisurely exploration of DC, with world-class markets as the bookends along our route. We’ll check out houses and parks along the way as we meander from Eastern Market to Union Market and back again, pedaling throughout Capitol Hill on terrific bike lanes and our favorite low-traffic streets. Best of all, we’ll carve out time to savor every bite. This one’s for the brunch set and Washington is a great town for foodies.
